Integra: Partner Pledge Sustainability 2022 by Microsoft Spain

Wednesday, 10 August, 2022
Integra, a Microsoft Partner, was awarded the prize for the best Microsoft Sustainability 2022 Pledge Partner.

Yesterday, Tuesday 19th July, in the framework of Inspire 2022, the annual event that brings together the Microsoft Spain partner ecosystem, Integra  was distinguished as Partner Pledge Sustainability 2022. The recent Microsoft Pledge Programme was born out of the conviction of the transformative power of technology to contribute to a future of our economy and society based on a sustainable digital transformation. Assuming the special responsibility of the technology sector for the large-scale industrial changes that this transformation entails. In this sense, Integra, as a Microsoft Partner, was one of the first to join this programme, to which today nearly 100 partners belong out of the thirteen thousand that make up the ecosystem in our country.

The award received yesterday as the best partner in the Pledge Sustainability category corroborates the company's firm commitment to continue improving the sustainability of our social and business fabric through technology. A commitment that is evident in the hundreds of projects in which Integra accompanies its clients to help them address the challenges of digital transformation, taking into account the perspective of sustainability and using all the possibilities offered by technology.

Proof of this was the project presented by Integra in the candidacy that has led it to win the award: from data to knowledge through IoT. A project in which Fribin, a leading meat company in the sector, sought to convert data into knowledge while improving its commitment to the environment by applying the commitments acquired in its corporate social responsibility programme. The implementation of this project enabled Fribin to reduce its water consumption in its production facilities by more than 25%. A considerable improvement that would not have been possible without the improvement in the collection, adaptation and distribution of data. Data that has been converted into high-value information and displayed in tools that enable decision-making in real time, managing production processes in a more efficient and sustainable way.

An example of sustainable digital transformation, which together with support, training and the use of innovative and disruptive technologies such as IoT, Big Data or Artificial Intelligence, are helping companies from different sectors to drive their transformation without renouncing their principles of corporate social responsibility.
