Introduction
The Landscape of Light of Madrid is an urban lighting project aimed at highlighting and enhancing the architectural and cultural heritage of the city through nighttime illumination. Among the buildings that are part of the Landscape of Light are the Puerta de Alcalá, the Cibeles Fountain, the Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, the Gran Vía, and the Temple of Debod, among others. The Landscape of Light of Madrid has become one of the main tourist attractions of the city, and it has been internationally recognized with awards such as the Gold Award in the Urban Design and Landscaping category at the European Design Awards 2021
Customer Challenge
To connect all the monuments, gardens, and buildings, a solution was needed that not only informed users about the location of the heritage sites but also created a unique experience to accompany them throughout the journey.

Strategy
Integra was part of this project with the development of an application that guides users through the different elements that make up the Landscape of Light. The mobile application features 5 designed routes, each passing through 12 monumental landmarks of Madrid. In addition to providing the different routes, the application includes audio and video content associated with each landmark, providing information about it and creating a unique and enjoyable environment for a complete experience. It offers inclusive content designed for people with hearing and/or visual impairments.
The application is available for both Android and iOS devices. Its user-friendly interface makes it highly accessible for everyone. Additionally, upon downloading the app, the user will have access to a brief usage tutorial to make their journey easier.
